Parents strap a mic to their 4-year-old in a dinosaur costume, shredding secret paths and big ole’ hills, and it’s the jolt of joy you need not just today, but every day. There’s a wonderful line in Daniel Duane’s Caught Inside, about a young kid just catching their first waves, and a surfing observer tells the kid’s dad, “well that’s that, he’ll never be president now.” And there’s something to that. Once a kid discovers the joys of sliding around on a board in nature, the proper priorities start clicking into place.
A couple put a mic on their 4-year-old while snowboarding, and dressed him up in a dinosaur outfit.
