We just shipped our Jeep Gladiator from Panama City, Panama to Cartagena, Colombia.

Many of you have asked me to share updates, and this is a pretty major one for us. Our first transcontinental shipping of the Jeep. We shipped DAUNTLESS on November 1st.

The cost on the Panama side was $1200 but we split the cost of the container with another full sized vehicle and a motorcycle. Breakdown was 40% per vehicle and 20% for the biker.

We flew into Cartagena, Colombia tonight. Now we wait to receive our rig. We anticipate having it back in our hands sometime around November 18–22nd. So we are living out of our backpacks until then.

We anticipate the cost on the Colombia side will be in the neighborhood of $900. We won’t know until we go through all of that process.

But it feels good to make it to our second continent on our overland journey around the world. It feels pretty surreal tonight.

We have a video of the loading of our Jeep into the container on our YouTube channel which I just uploaded earlier today. You can check it out here if you like: https://youtu.be/hNUm30enrJk

Happy to field any questions about the process, international overlanding, full-time overlanding etc. ~ Eric
