Hi guys i have a 2017 Silverado that has an act conversion for my wheelchair and i need some helping with some sleeping platform advice. It’s a 6.5 foot bed with a softopper and i have plans for a pvc sleep platform. Here’s the platform dimensions. Truck sleeping dimensions 74 inches long 31 inches wide 17.5 inches tall The problem I’m having is i want the platform to slide out on the tailgate/tommygate so I can get in bed easier then have my brother slide it back fully into the bed but i just dont know how to secure the bed platform i was thinking tie down straps but that might be too inconvenient to unclimbed when camping and reclip while driving . My idea was to mount wood under the pvc that’s the same diameter of the bed grooves but that wont allow the bed to slide out.

It needs to removeable and lightweight as i need my truck bed for hauling stuff when not camping.
