We went to the Victorian alps and then drove through Little Desert on the way back to South Australia.

Being from South Australia these are colder temperatures than what we are used to but it was not bad since it is warm sleeping in the car.

In the morning after sleeping on Mt Matlock the hand brake was frozen on, maybe because we crossed a river on the way there.

I had forgotten to drain the drinking water hoses before night and they froze. I melted some snow in a pot and poured it down the hose which got it unfrozen.

The track up here was quite steep and slippery. I had brought snow chains but didn’t need them, we got through the usual way with low tyre pressure and locked diffs.
