Master maker Bob Terzuola is holding a special lottery to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

As a custom maker, production collaborator, and grandfather of the entire tactical knife genre, Terzuola’s work needs no introduction. The piece he put together for this lotto is a classic Terzoula folder, with a 4-inch, recurved drop point, made from MagnaCut and accentuated with an absolutely enormous swedge that runs the entire length of the blade. Materials are high-end favorites, with a front scale made from carbon fiber, and the off-side in titanium, outfitted with a frame lock and a sculpted ti pocket clip as well. In a nice touch, the partial backspacer is half blue, half yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

While it definitely could be carried and used, whatever lucky dog wins this one will probably keep it as a collector piece – and what a piece it is, too. If you want a chance to add it to your collection, the lottery opens later today on the Terzuola Knives website, with each entry costing $25. All proceeds will go to a Ukrainian refugee relief fund.

While you’re on the Terzuola website, you should also snag yourself a copy of Terzuola’s seminal knife making book, The Tactical Folding Knife, which returned to print in an expanded edition earlier this year. On the production side of things, the latest Terzuola design for MKM will be arriving with dealers this week. It’s called the Maximo and, like this custom lottery knife, has a drop point blade, flipper deployment, and a titanium frame lock.

The lottery for Ukraine is open now, you can buy entries here. Entries will be accepted through 11:59pm on Saturday, April 2nd.
