Hello, I live in Canada’s ass, we just had no power for 48 hours (hooray for State Owned Monopolies), and my house is colder than the outside. Ice on the meat I took out from from the freezer still hasn’t melted.
Prior to this we had 3 years in a row where the last days of summer had no power for 3-4 days, those were at least summer, so not the worst.
I’m looking to buy some sort of battery or camping battery or something I can charge up, and if I ever need it, run a space heater on it for at least a day or two. Is there such a thing? Any suggestions?
I’m not looking to go crazy and plug in TVs and shit. At least just 1 heater and stick it in a bedroom.
Doesn’t really matter how long it takes to charge up, how much space it takes, how much it costs. Just need it so I don’t have to sleep in snow pants, a winter jacket, gloves, and a hat again, and still freeze my ass off.
